We are currently seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join the Execution Systems Department in Leiden . This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge biotech production, working alongside 60 dedicated automation professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The MAM-ES (Manufacturing Automation & Execution Systems) team is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of GxP-compliant computerized systems and automation
Profiel kandidaat
A Bachelor’s or higher degree (HBO-level minimum) in Industrial Automation , Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field.
2–5 years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of GAMP regulations and automation compliance.
3–5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) and Wonderware SCADA systems.
Strong ability to interpret control philosophies and author Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) .
Familiarity with OSIsoft PI Historian and a solid understanding of P&IDs , instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
Excellent communication skills in English . Dutch is a Plus.
Certifications: VCA and NEN 3140 are mandatory.
