Experienced Tooling Design Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

As an Experienced Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining electrical wiring bundles, enclosures, racks, and related mechanical components. You will support both new development and ongoing improvements, ensuring that designs meet safety and compliance standards and are ready for production.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and document electro-mechanical modules (3D and 2D), including wiring harnesses and enclosures.
Ensure compliance with safety, EMC, CE, and NFPA standards.
Prepare and implement engineering changes into the product lifecycle.
Review your work and participate in peer design reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Plan and execute tasks within multiple project timelines.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and act as a key technical representative.
Depending on experience, oversee outsourced development and mentor junior designers.
