About the Role
As a Mechanical Development Engineer at Philips, you will leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to model, design, implement, integrate, and test some of the world’s most innovative healthcare products and manufacturing systems. You will work within the Product and System Engineering

Candidate profile


Education : BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience : Minimum 5 years in innovative product development, preferably in medical devices or imaging systems.
Strong ability to convert global concepts into detailed designs suitable for scale-up and volume production.
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (preferably Creo or NX Unigraphics) and MS Office .
Familiarity with Windchill PDLM and TeamCenter is a plus.
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and analytical skills, with a mechatronics background integrating mechanics, dynamics & control, thermal behavior, materials, and metrology.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (IEC-60601, ISO13485, FDA) and design controls, risk management, and quality testing.

You will join Philips Innovation Engineering , a diverse and highly skilled organization that supports Philips businesses in accelerating innovation to market. Our Product and System Engineering department is known for its multi-disciplinary system design approach , covering all phases of the product lifecycle. The Mechatronics and Manufacturing Systems group has delivered breakthrough solutions for new clinical procedures and applications, combining creativity with technical excellence.

Duration: 1-year contractor role with potential for extension.
Working model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
One-year contract with the intention to offer a permanent contract afterward.
